The Next Big Thing in Flat Screen Technology - SED

BeHardware reports that Canon has created a new display technology called SED or Surface-conduction Electron-emitter Display.

This technology, which will be manufactured by Toshiba and available starting at the earliest late 2006, features a full 180 degree viewing angle and 100,000 to 1 contract ratio. Sweet!
